Help needed for LCP(R) Boat

I am building the Monogram/Revell USN Frogmen and LCP® Boat, (UDT Boat), kit # 85-0313. Does anyone know what time period this kit is from? WW II or Korea? Also what colors were they painted? The instructions say dark gray, which dark gray? Were they Haze gray? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Looks like these came into use at the end of WWII. Never seen a color phot of one though.
