Just got the kit in today from Lucky Model and it looks pretty sweet. Individual track links, choice of tyred or steel road wheels, and driver's hatch. According to the instructions, the kit was developed with the assistance of the curator of the IDF armor museum, who is an ex-tanker. A very impressive kit from a relatively new company. Found some sprue shots in this thread:

I'm pretty much done with construction and have just started working on HB Merkava. Meng has much more parts and even though fit is pretty good, you can't let your guard down - a little too much work for me. No PE (I'm happy about that) and ball and chain made in plastic - overscale and uniform, but convincing to my eyes. Haven't used kit tracks - fruils fit very well. As you can tell I was hoping for a quicker, Tamiya-like build, but instead got something like one of the recent ultra-detailed Dragon kits.

HB is simpler - much fewer parts and so far goes together fast, but ball and chain has to be fabricated from brass balls and wire, and there's PE.

One more thing - Meng doesn't have anti-slip, but HB version looks rather lame to be honest. For someone like me, who would prefer a quick build, it's a bit of a tossup so far.

I just received the Blast Models update set for this kit. Very nice. i was going to dive right in- until I saw the Voyager sets. The real springs for the suspension look wesome and they also have a ton of PE for the rest. I like to make things more complicated...
