I thought I'd share a few of the photos I took yesterday at the Robbins show. I'm still working on my photo skills so if anyone has suggestions for better images, feel free to share. Also, if you were there and have pics of your own, feel free to post those as well.

This was also the first time I have ever seen the Blue Angles perform. Needless to say I went a bit nuts with the camera. I think I took over 800 pics of just the Blues!

They look pretty good to me! The Blues shots are great for never having seen them before. Once you've seen them a few times you'll get even better shots because you'll have a better feel for what's going to happen next.

The 402nd Maintenance Wing is stationed at Robbins. Here is their mission statement from the web site:

The 402d Maintenance Wing (MXW), through 7,000 employees, provides depot maintenance, engineering support and software development to major weapon systems (F-15, C-5, C-130, C-17 and SOF aircraft). Achieves command objectives providing a capability/capacity to support peacetime maintenance requirements, wartime emergency demands, aircraft battle damage repair and a ready source of maintenance of critical items.

Here are a couple more pics of the disassembled F-15:

No need for self doubt as not one photo submitted was lacking in any way! Either you share my eye, or know just what and how to shoot your subject I say. The Lakenheath F-15 a Strike Eagle less CFT's?
First I was wondering what it was doing stateside, but now figure it is there for rework or mods? Anyway, that is what I mean, you submitted shots that show interesting things going on. The F-22 door shot is for detail use, no matter about the nose. Thanks Again!

Glad you guys are liking the photos. I am really loving my new 300mm lens. I confess that I don't know diddly about F-15's, I just took them cause I figured they might be good refs for someone.
Here are some closeup crops of the F-22 weapons bay. Certainly not beauty shots, but they should be good to add to the ref collection.

Great pic's!!! I went on sunday and gosh it was hot. My wife took lots of pictures but she is hogging her camera. I did manage to get this shot from her. I'll try to get some more up later while she's at work.
