Just got a cheap Hasegawa kit and wanted to see if I can add a couple of details to it.

Russian aircraft are not my specialty, so any help would be appreciated, especially if you have any tips on building that old kit.

Also, the pitot and front wheels mudgard are missing. I would need to know what they look like.

Thanks in advance,

Jorge.

A -PD walkaround:

An -RB walkaround, for what it's worth:

And

not a walkaround, but useful nonetheless...

All links can be found time and again in this site I think.

Hold on - you need P - "П" - interceptor, not R - "Р" - reconnaissance ?

My best recommendation for building Hasegawa kit - don't bother, it is hugely inaccurate.

Thanks a lot Pin.

Yes, I need the "P" (interceptor), as it is the model represented in the old Hasegawa box.

Didn't lnow it was that bad, but I will build it just as some kind of "nostalgia build", just trying to make it as nice-looking as possible.

I never built one before but always wanted to so, as I found one real cheap, I decided it was time to give it a try.

It surprises me the newer kits are selling for just a couple more bucks than the Hase one. I may be building one of those in the future...

All the best,

Jorge.

One may build a good model even from this kit

http://dishmodels.ru/gshow.htm?p=1748

it worth reading the article below to assess the magnitude of corrections made

PS. Interesting hiccup of Google translator - it does not translate the whole article to the very end, but if you reload it would translate a little further
