I'm currently working on 2 Verlinden 120mm figures, and I'm in need of patches & rank insignia's and other things for the figures.

One figure is a US Navy Top Gun pilot, so I need a Tomcat logo, and rank insignia's, and the 2nd figure is a Desert Storm SAW gunner, so I'd need insignia's for him as well.

Alliance Model Works makes a few sets in that scale, though there's none listed on Ebay right now for modern US troopers.

Sorry, can't help you on the pilot figure.

I print my own Adam, these were one on an ALPS printer, though you can do them on a laser or inkjet, you just need to seal them.. did the stripes eagle flag, airborne, first aid kit markings, US markings and name on his jacket. they are 1/9th on this..

The suggestion was made on another forum about making my own decals, which was actually something I hadn't thought about or considered, and something I'll definitely be looking into.

I like the look of those patches, I'll definitely take a look at those, they might be perfect for what I need.

I use this paper Adam, my Alps printer is a rarity amongst printers as in it has white ink, if you have white in them you can use white decal fim, but will need to trim them close or you will get a halo around your decal, on clear paper you don't get that, but white will be transparent when printed as a normal printer uses the white of the paper for the colour.

However, there is now a white inkjet colour coming out.
