I'm having a bit of a problem with my current build, a Vac Curtiss Sparrowhawk. This is my first inter-War airplane, and I have no clue what the interior cockpit colors for this time period are. Where they still running some version of Green Zinc Chromate, or something different? Thanks!

Do not, Sir, repeat, do not, use zinc chromate or anything green.
For most of the period between the wars, U.S. interiors were painted in aluminum lacquer. This was also mostly the finish for metal surfaces on U.S. Navy planes.
However, the Sparrowhawk falls into a period when Navy planes had their metal surfaces (the fuselage in this instance) painted a very light grey, and the same paint was used on interior metal surfaces.
Here is a picture of the Air and Space Museum example:

Ginter Books has a monograph on the Sparrowhawk: I have not seen it, but they have a good reputation.

This is another inter-war Navy example of what the Sparrowhawk interior may have looked like. Just follow the link...
