This is the Classic Airframes kit in 1/48. Built mostly OOB with the kit decals. The tail number was masked and painted. I chose to model to airframe that was recovered from a lake in Russia. Definitely a challenge at times, but I think it turned out pretty well.

The front cowling ring didn't fit well. I ended up cutting it in two and adding a shim in the middle of it to get it to line up at the top and the bottom.

Always like to fight in her against Russian I-16s and I-153s in Il-2 sim
