I've got both Tamiya XF-63 "German Gray" and XF-24 "Dark Gray". Both look gosh darn about the same to me in the bottle.

Which one best corresponds to RLM 66? Does it really matter? Maybe it's the cold medicine I've been taking?

Thanks for your opinon.

I did some more research and both colors are close. Can't go wrong with XF-63 "German Gray"

German Grey is XF-63, at least on my bottle...:explode:

Yes, it´s correct. BTW, RLM 66 is the same as RAL 7021.

Ja- XF-63, that is what I intended. That cold medicine does strange things to your head! Thanks.

I went back and edited my earlier posts. Danke!

Tamiya XF-63 is the colour that Tamiya recomends for use on armoured vehicles aka panzer grey. I not saying that it doesn't work as RLM-66, I might have used it myself but can't recall.

Can't cite a source, but supposedly there were at least 3-4 different versions of RLM 66, so why be too picky in trying to find the 'perfect' match? :coolio:
