Matchbox Madness 2009

Time once again for Matchbox Madness! This build will run a little shorter than the average build, running between 1 July 09 and 1 October 09, and your host for the build, as always, is madmike, as well as Tim Mansfield and Julien(UK).

Flight Test and Evaluation Group Build

This Group Build is open to all A/C types of all nations including Civilian Corporations IE. NASA. Collings Foundation Drones, Boeing Airliner test A/C.
This build will run from Feb 1, 09 to to Jun 30, 09, and your hosts for this build will be Thundergrunt, Jonathan_Lotton, and AnthonyWan.

"Operation" Group Build

"Operation Group Build " is a group build that is open to all Nations and all types of A/C,Ships,Armor that have participaited in a known Documented "Operation" around the world. Whether it be Homeland defense, Combat Operations, Research Operations, just must be a Known "Operation" IE. " C-47 "Operation Overlord" BF-109's or Faiery Swordfish "Operation Donnerkeil", C-130 "Operation Deep Freeze", etc. The build runs from 1 Jul 09 to 1 Nov 09, and your hosts will be ThunderGrunt, John B, and Jonathan_Lotton.

The Spitfire Group Build

This build is for fans of the venerable Supermarine Spitfire, one of the most recognizable aircraft of the Second World War. Rules will be simple; build any spitfire, any mark, any country, any time period, any markings. Seafires count. Prototypes count. The build will run from 1 January 09 - 1 July 09, and your hosts for this build will be jrallman, johnsan, and moeggo.

The Reich Raiders Group Build

The Reich Raiders Group Build starts October 1st, 2008 and concludes on March 31st, 2009. The aircraft modeled must have taken part in air operations in and around Germany from January 1943 to VE Day in 1945. For the purposes of this group build, these areas include Germany, Austria, Czechoslovakia, France, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, and Holland. Your hosts for this build will be Moeggo, The Mikester and Pete Wenman.

Trash Haulers Group Build

Any fixed wing aircraft that carries cargo internally (C1 to C-141). Build is open to all scales, eras, military, civilian and nationality. Tankers such as the KC-135 are also included. Aircraft examples not eligible are gunship versions of cargo aircraft, special mission aircraft (NKC-135, AWACS....) and AC with buddy pods. As for the V-22, that still falls into the non fixed wing category so it is not eligible. The build runs from 1 January 09 - 1 July 09, and your host for this build will be drhornii

WWII Carrier War Group Build

This group build focuses on carrier planes from WWII. Entry criteria will be simple - the plane must have taken off from or landed on a carrier during WWII.
